After working with a small, tight-lipped group of serious bass anglers, Sage developed three rods that can drop a hair frog or an air-light diver with pinpoint accuracy and hardly a ripple on the water. If you are not familiar with Hatch Reels, stop by and have a look, you'll be glad you did.  Hatch reels are one of the finest performing and asthetically pleasing reels on the market.  The majority of the drags in reels on the market today incorporate what might be called one to one surface contact, meaning that one  surface (metal) is driven or drawn toward another surface (cork, plastic, carbon fiber, graphite, etc). Hatch reels take a completely different approach by incorporating a stacked disc drag. The discs are made up of a combination of stainless steel and Rulon®, and positioned in a stacked configuration.  The reel seat is machined into the frame eliminating screws, there's no worry about corrosion or the reel foot lossening.  Reels come in various sizes, body styles, color combos,  and arbor sizes.
